Meet Dr. Madeliene Wilson

Dr. Madeliene Wilson

Madeliene Wilson, M.D., also known as “Scooter” or “Mads”, wanted to be an astronaut when she grew up, but thinks if she were not a physician she would definitely have been a fashion designer. She has a natural talent for bargain hunting and LOVES shopping. Madeleine’s favorite saying is, “Close, but no cigar”.

She loves to watch New Girl and drink Diet Dr. Pepper. If she could describe herself in one word, it would be “outgoing”, so it is no surprise that she, “Loves all the people at Lincoln Medical Family Residency Program.” After her training at LMFP, Madeleine plans to continue her practice in small-town, rural medicine, but has big travel aspirations: she hopes to visit all seven wonders of the world.

Madeleine loves her family. She is happily married to Eric, her mother is her role model, and her uncle is actually Dr. BJ Wilson of Lincoln’s CHI Health in neonatology and her connection to Lincoln, Nebraska. Her love for the Huskers also connects her to Lincoln as well and her unusual affinity for humidity; she is a perfect fit, but not from Lincoln. Dr. Wilson is from Chillicote, MO. She received her bachelor’s degree at SLU in biology with a minor in anthropology and attended medical school at UNMC.
