The Lincoln Family Medicine Program offers clerkships for fourth-year medical students who want a concentrated experience in family medicine. Students are given the opportunity to follow their own schedule of ambulatory patients, round on hospital patients, attend deliveries, and visit specialties of interest while on rotation in Lincoln. 

Work hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with optional night and weekend hours for those learning opportunities, such as obstetrics or emergency room work that may be more common after hours. 

Housing is generally provided to students who need a place to stay during their time in Lincoln. Lunch is provided most days at the noon lecture at the Family Medicine Center. If you have questions, call us at (402) 483-4591 or email us at lfmp@lmep.com.
