First-year Resident

For Hale Breit, DO, medicine isn’t just a career––it’s a family legacy and a calling to serve others. As a family medicine physician, he’s passionate about being there for patients from the beginning of their healthcare journey, developing a personal relationship with them, and guiding and supporting them every step of the way, from short-term medical needs through lifelong wellness goals.

Born and raised in Lincoln, Dr. Breit knew he wanted to give back to the community that shaped him and to establish his family medicine practice. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri.

Choosing where to complete his residency was easy. Dr. Breit wanted to learn from the best while caring for the community he calls home. He’s looking forward to furthering his training with the dedicated team at Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program, where he can continue learning from providers who truly understand Nebraska healthcare.

Outside of residency, Dr. Breit enjoys playing tennis, cheering on Nebraska football, and spending time with his family and friends.
